OEG (Owens Entertainment Group) is a music company in Nashville based on artist development, label services, and publishing. Since its founding five years ago, OEG has prioritized creating a family-like environment within the often-complex world of music. Under the leadership of Founder and President Susan Owens, OEG has become known for its commitment to compassion, understanding, and unwavering support for artists and writers.
Susan, along with her son Tyler Woodward, has built OEG into a safe haven for emerging writers and artists. Their hands-on approach to artist development includes assessing a writer/artists needs and supplying services from the ground up. This includes facilitating writing relationships, booking co-writes and curating recording projects. It has also included producing projects, marketing of project upon release, and securing distribution partners on a per-project basis. Each writer/artist is different and a unique approach to each project is an intentional and important part of the development process. An early success for OEG includes writer/artist Wyatt Flores, who was initially signed in 2021. This nurturing approach to Wyatt's career has included all of the aforementioned services, culminating in a recording agreement with Island Records. Wyatt and OEG recently celebrated the platinum certification of his breakout hit "Please Don’t Go."
OEG’s current roster also includes singer-songwriters SEVY! and Kaitlyn Kilian, as well as songwriter David DeVaul, each of whom benefit from the company’s deep commitment to helping writer/artists reach their full potential. OEG’s passion for identifying and guiding writer/artists from the very early stages of their career through their musical journeys in Nashville is the cornerstone of their business, and is truly their calling card.
